Petrofka, SK S0K4R0
After several months of dealing with the effects of COVID-19, I was at a point of not really wanting to go anywhere outside of my physical bubble, which was work, home and grocery store. Did I forget the occasional trip to the gas station???
Someone in my "bubble" had for some reason or other talked about Petrofka, SK. A very Eastern European name in the middle of Saskatchewan is not uncommon, considering the history of migration this part of the country experienced over the last century.
I had hardly done any research and this trip was just to clear my head and get out of the house. The one thing I found surprising on this trip was the mask wearing and the plexiglass shields at the Delisle Coop gas station. Not to mention someone else pumping gas for you.
This was a trip where, I was able to test out my camera as well.
