Charlie Clark (Re-election)

The current mayor of Saskatoon is hoping to get re-elected this fall. He has a snazzy website @ https://www.charlieclark2020.ca/. However website itself provides very vague ideas categorized under "My Plan"

Under the plan, he has 3 broad categories, listed as "Keep People Working", Keep People Safe" and "Strengthen Saskatoon's Quality of Life" It is possible that in order to win the election, he is not talking about the BRT, pilot bike lanes and the new Saskatoon Public Library as that may antagonize some voters who don't frequent public facilities. To those voters he talks about property taxes and the second lowest business taxes in the country. He also touts the job creation numbers which sit at 7% in comparison to the provincial average of 2%. Would the ability to work with others in industry help win an election?

The one thing you know about Charlie Clark is that he is a very compassionate person, who genuinely cares about every person in the city. I witnessed that when his wife talked about how they met, MMIWG and the fact that he sits on the board of city police commissioners.

Getting back to the website again, I think the information with regards on how to vote in the upcoming election is concise and clear.

I will try my best to update this post if and when new information appears on the website, the same will apply to all other mayoral candidates.
